Three Time Grammy winner, Harry Connick Jr. will return to Tennessee for two performances, on February 23rd at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, and on February 27th at the Cannon Theater in Memphis.
The Grammy, Tony, and Emmy award winner, has been nominated for Cable Ace, Golden Globe and Oscar awards, and has released several platinum and gold albums. His latest, the Grammy nominated, "Your Songs," released in September of 2009, features some of pop's best-loved tunes including The Beatles "And I Love Her," Billy Joel's "Just The Way You Are." and Elton John's "Your Song."
A native of New Orleans, Harry along with his friend Branford Marsalis, conceived the Musicians Village in their hometown after Hurricane Katrina, which as of September 2009, has built 72 homes with Habitat for Humanity. In addition to his area performances later in the month, Connick will be a speaker and performer at the closing keynote session at the Bissdom '10 Conference in Nashville, TN on Saturday, February 6, 2010.
