“You just pick up a chord, go twang, and you're got music.”
Promising something slightly more complex, the Glenn Martin Quintet will be playing songs from such composers as Jobim, Herbie Hancock, Rodgers & Hart, Duke Ellington, and Miles Davis at the Bull & Whistle this Thursday night.
Located in Lebanon's historic Mill, the B&W Pub offers a full menu (online) of very tasty food accompanied by jazz from a bygone era.
The band consists of Glenn Martin, piano and trombone, Sam Frazee, gut string guitar, Hugh Bramhall, drums, Ryan Williams, electric guitar, and Wayne Renardson, acoustic bass. They play from 6:30 until 8:30 every Thursday evening. There is no cover, ample free parking, and a jazz-friendly crowd.
Musicians are invited to sit in with the band. A setlist is available from Wayne at
