Rahsaan Barber
After completing his Master's Degree in Jazz Performance at Manhattan School of Music, Rahsaan Barber has returned to Music City! The young saxophonist has received much acclaim following the release of his first record as leader, TrioSoul!. This record highlights the talents of the saxophone phenom alongside Nashville's premier Hammond B-3 performer Moe Denham! Rahsaan Barber performs at virtually all of region's finest jazz venues while still keeping a profile in Manhattan, returning to unite forces with twin brother, trombonist Roland Barber.

Les Kerr & The Bayou Band
Three-time Music City Blues Awards nominee Les Kerr brings blues, New Orleans music, Zydeco, rock and bluegrass together to create his “Hillbilly Blues Caribbean Rock & Roll.” Now based in Nashville, the Gulf Coast native has recorded four CDs and performs throughout the U.S. as leader of Les Kerr & The Bayou Band and as a solo artist. His original song “Mackinac Blues” has been featured on NPR’s All Songs Considered web site and he is also known for his annual Mardi Gras concerts.

Michael Lewis and One Street over
In a day where there is no real definition for contemporary jazz, such artists are forced to abide by the somewhat deceptive title of smooth jazz. One Street Over is smooth, but at times they display a high degree of technical ability.

Diane Marino
Pianist/Vocalist Diane Marino originally from NYC, relocated to Nashville in 1989. Since then, she and Bassist Frank Marino have been a staple on the Nashville Jazz scene, performing in all the various Jazz venues and festivals in the mid-south and beyond. As leaders of the popular samba group, "Som Brasileiro" their Cd "Sounds of Brazil" was nominated for Jazz album of the year at the 1998 Nashville Music awards.
Diane's most recent work is with her Jazz Quartet. Her 2 Cd's: "A Sleepin' Bee" and "On the Street Where You Live" have both charted on the national JazzWeek charts and are currently receiving significant airplay internationally.Diane's versatility is demonstrated by her repertoire of traditional instrumental and vocal Jazz as well as Latin and Brazilian Jazz which Diane sings in Portuguese.
Diane and Frank Marino perform regularly at Lobbies Jazz Bar @ the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Nashville. You can catch them most Tues., Wed., and Thurs. nights from 5:30 - 9:30PM. (611 Commerce St., 255-8400)

Ken Sanders
Ken Sanders is a drummer and bandleader; a regular contributor to the Drum Live Blog; Global Moderator of the Drum Solo Artist Forum.
Ken now leads the eight-piece horn band he went with in 1967,,,,the FABULOUS FAIRLANES.... as front man and lead vocalist. The FABULOUS FAIRLANES continue to perform their Funk/Blues infused stylings at events in the Southeastern USA. He also performs with the AL MENAH BIG BAND, a 16 piece orchestra doing traditional Big Band arrangements. Ken leads other two small ensembles; Nashville's very popular group...RETROSPECT... playing classic rock music; and the Jazz Trio Project... SANDERS-NELSON JAZZ ODYSSEY with keyboard artist Scott Nelson. His latest CD, Bless My Blue-Eyed Soul is scheduled for release in December, 2008.

Working solo or with a band and acclaimed "a natural", her stage career began as a young child in New England. The discerning listener can hear subtle touches of Clara’s classical training. She has composed many dozens of songs and masterfully performs her arrangements of favorite covers. Her style and technique are her own, as she sings, plays keyboard, and does keyboard bass lines.
