New classes at Jazz Workshop feature percussion masters, Nashviille guitar legends
The Nashville Jazz Workshop is introducing a trio of new classes starting August 2 featuring some of the city's top percussion and guitar luminaries. The new offerings are: Chester Thompson's "World of Jazz Drumming," a World Percussion Master Class, and "Nashville Cats" guitar styles.

Nashville Musicians Association Flood Relief Fund
Many musicians and their families were among those affected by the recent floods.  The Nashville Musicians Association - AMF Local 257 is accepting donations.  They have also set up a flood damage network forum on their message board with lots of helpful information.
